Hi, I'm Katy.

I'm a Utah based photographer, capturing real life, real love, and everyday magic. I picked up my first dslr over 13 years ago, and what started out as a creative outlet quickly became something much more meaningful. I have discovered that what I appreciate most about photography isn't just capturing beautiful images -- it's working with people and telling their stories. 

 

My sessions are relaxed, patient, and thoughtfully guided. I don't expect perfection and I don't rush the process. I want you to feel comfortable and confident, knowing that I'm paying attention to the details so you don't have to. ​​I've learned that it is less about perfect poses and more about connection, trust, and understanding people where they are.

When I'm not behind the camera, I'm a mom to four kids, navigating the world of carpooling, homework helping, sports practices, occasional referee, and generally surviving single motherhood--proving that chaos can be beautiful too.
